$60 Optus Business Plan (24 months)
Minimum monthly spend of $60.00. Minimum total cost over 24 months for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 including handset repayments is $1,440.00.
An ABN (Australian Business Number) is required.
The $60 Business Complete plan (Apr-12) is available to new and existing eligible Small or Medium Business (SMB) customers as defined by Optus, who pass the Optus credit assessment and are accepted by Optus. Existing customers must demonstrate that over the three continuous months prior to applying, you had an average monthly spend equal to at least the monthly access fee of the $60 Business Complete plan.


The $60 Business Complete plan (Apr-12) is available as a month to month, 12 or 24 month plan.


If you have committed to the $60 Business Complete plan (Apr-12) on a 12 month term, the minimum total cost is $720 plus the cost of your handset, if any. If you have committed to the $60 Business Complete plan on a 24 month term, the minimum total cost is $1,440 plus the cost of your handset, if any.


Included Call & Text Value: The $60 Business Complete plan includes $650 of standard national MMS, voice calls to Australian fixed lines and Australian GSM mobiles (excluding Pivotel), national diversions and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers, within Australia, each billing period. The included Call & Text value excludes standard national video calls, 124 YES (937), International Voice including calls to fixed lines or GSM mobiles that switch/divert or re-route overseas, International Diversions, International Video, International Roaming, International SMS & MMS, International Video Calling, Optus Zoo Browsing, Optus Zoo Downloads, Content Packs (unless specified in promotions), Mobile Internet usage, TrueLocal usage, Surepage, Premium Calls, SMS and MMS, VOIP services and usage, and 19XX services. If you exceed the "Included Call & Text Value" in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply.


You will pay a minimum amount of $60 per month even if you do not make $60 worth of calls. For the first part month, you will only pay part of the minimum spend and you will also receive only, part of the "Included Call & Text Value" and "Included Mobile Internet Data Value" (if this option is selected). You are not able to view your monthly usage prior to receiving your bill.


Unlimited Optus GSM mobile calls offer: Applies to standard national voice calls to other Optus GSM Mobile services, within Australia. Subject to Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy.


Unlimited standard national SMS Offer: is only applicable for standard SMS sent and received within Australia. Offer excludes International SMS, Premium SMS, Group and Email SMS. The Unlimited SMS offer only applies to standard personal and business use only. Subject to Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy.


Unlimited Voicemail: Applies to Voicemail Deposits and Retrievals within Australia. Subject to Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy.


Under the $60 Business Complete plan, you can either choose (a) 1.5GB Included Mobile Internet Data Value or (b) Unlimited BlackBerry POP3 Email & Browsing through the BlackBerry Browser, to use within Australia.


(a) 1.5GB Included Mobile Internet Data Value: if this option is selected, the $60 Business Complete plan also includes 1.5GB of data per month to use within Australia, to access services on Optus Zoo or Optus iZoo, browse the Internet from your mobile, as well as using your mobile as a modem. If you exceed your plans included monthly mobile internet data allowance, excess usage charges will be charged at $0.25c per MB or part thereof. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024KB = 1MB and includes both uploads and downloads. Any unused monthly mobile internet data cannot be rolled over.


(b) Unlimited BlackBerry POP3 Email & Browsing through the BlackBerry Browser: If this option is selected, the plan includes Unlimited use within Australia, of BlackBerry POP3 email, use of the BlackBerry Browser, applications from Optus and third party applications that require a BlackBerry Data connection. Unlimited BlackBerry POP3 email and browsing through the BlackBerry Browser is subject to the Optus Mobile Fair GoTM policy. If you exceed your plan's included monthly mobile internet data allowance, excess usage charges will be charged at $0.25c per MB or part thereof. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024KB = 1MB and includes both uploads and downloads. Any unused monthly mobile internet data cannot be rolled over. If you select the Unlimited BlackBerry POP3 Email & Browsing option, you will not be able to view your monthly usage prior to receiving your bill. Excluded from your included Mobile Internet Data Value: Your included mobile internet data allowance cannot be used for Voice and Video calls, Voice Mail, International SMS and MMS, premium and Third Party SMS and MMS and Third Party content purchases and subscription fees, 1300, 1800, 1900, Surepage, VPN data usage and data used while roaming internationally. If you access such services, you will be charged at prevailing rates.


Unlimited mobile access to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, eBay & Foursquare: Only available within Australia and requires a compatible handset. Use of these services is separate and does not count towards your included "Mobile Internet Data". Cannot be used with your Optus Mobile Broadband (OMB) or Business Mobile Broadband (BMB) device/s and excludes use of Facebook SMS or other social media alert services. These features are only available to you if your handset is compatible with the service. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies. MySpace Mobile: Requires an existing MySpace account. MotoBlur Happenings: for selected Motorola handsets customers will receive unlimited use of these services within Australia which does not count towards your "Mobile Internet Data Value." These features are only available to you if your handset is compatible with the service.


Termination: If you choose to pay the cost of your handset by the monthly handset payment option or have chosen a 12 or 24 month plan and you cancel your Optus Mobile Service or it is disconnected for any reason, or you switch carriers within your minimum term ("Termination") you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your phone, if any, plus applicable "Termination Fees". The Termination Fee is calculated in accordance to the following: for months 1-12 of a 24 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $790, for months 13-15, 80% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 16-18, 60% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 19-21, 40% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 22-24, 20% of the Initial Termination Fee. For months 1-6 of a 12 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $560, for months 7-9 70% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 10-12 40% of the Initial Termination Fee.


Text Message (SMS) and Photo Message (MMS): Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date. Charges apply regardless of successful delivery or not. The recipient will need to have an MMS compatible mobile phone and service to receive this type of message.


Optus Zoo & MyZooNow: Optus Zoo activation time may take up to 24 hours. Optus will endeavour to provide current, accurate information but makes no guarantee regarding the timely delivery, currency, or accuracy of any information provided to you as part of the Optus Zoo Update service. Content may be suspended, changed, or terminated without notice. Optus is not responsible for third party content, and sites may be subject to change. Additional charges may apply to access and subscription to third party content. Content is tailored for viewing on Optus 3G dual band or Optus 3G single band and may not include all content and features of Internet websites.


TrueLocal: Only available on XHTML supported handsets. Standard browsing and downloading charges will apply to access the service. Content is tailored for viewing on Optus 3G dual band or Optus 3G single band handset and may not include all content and features of Internet websites. When using True Local your location is automatically accessed to allow provision of correct service information while you are using the service. Should you click on a banner advertisement; a response will be sent to you on an opt-in basis. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies and currently allows up to 300 maps downloads per month.


Handset Locking: Some handsets are locked to the Optus network. Optus can only unlock handsets purchased from an Optus outlet within Australia. For Mobile Account customers only, who wish to use their handset on another network, please call Optus on 133 343. Unlocking fee may apply.


Handset Features: Certain features are only available to you if your handset is compatible with the service.


Coverage: Coverage area is handset dependent. Optus 3G dual band is part of the Open Network and refers to our UMTS2100MHz/900MHz coverage. Optus 3G dual band can provide access to 3G services and is only available throughout the Open Network with compatible 3G dual band handset. Optus 3G single band is part of the Open Network and refers to our UMTS 2100MHhz coverage. Optus 3G single band can provide access to 3G services and is only available in Optus 3G single band areas of the Open Network with compatible 3G single band handset. 3G services are subject to network availability. Premium Services generally begin with a "19" number or short code being either a phone number you dial or text a keyword to. Premium Services can consist of the following voting lines, ringtones, wallpapers and pictures etc.


If you receive charges for Premium Services they can be incurred on your bill in the following way;


Flat Rate: This is when you pay a flat fixed fee for each SMS sent to and/or received from a Premium Number or a flat fee per phone call made to the Premium Service,


Subscription: Where you opt into an ongoing subscription with associated charges,


Joining Fees: Where you may also be charged an additional joining fee as part of an ongoing subscription,


Timed Rate: Where your Premium Call is timed and charged at a per minute rate,


Data Volume charge: Where you are charged according to how many Kilobytes of data you are downloading.


From October 2010 the ability to limit your mobile phone from using Premium Services content is as easy as logging onto www.optuszoo.com.au and clicking on the My Mobile tab and then the Content Spend Limit link alternatively you can call Optus Customer Care on 133 343. There is no charge for utilising this service.


Once your request for barring your mobile phone for Premium Services is received it may take up to one business day to be successfully processed. Once this activation is complete there will be no further charges for Premium Services. If you choose to bar Premium Services, your access to any non-Premium Service-related services will not be affected.


If you should need to raise a complaint about your Premium Service you should contact the content provider who supplied you with the Premium Service in the first instance, contact details can be found at Optus Zoo > My Mobile > Content / PSMS Usage Transactions additionally you can raise you complaint by simply clicking on the complaint button whilst within your PSMS usage transactions page. If you are unable to settle your complaint with the content provider please contact Optus Customer Care on 133 343. You can also seek assistance from the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO). The TIO will only investigate complaints if you have already attempted to resolve the complaint with Optus.


Changing Rate Plans: We may charge you a fee if you move from one pricing plan to another before the end of your minimum term. The amount of the fee will depend on various factors, including the terms of your current pricing plan, your call spend under your current pricing plan and the terms of the new pricing plan you are moving to. You should contact customer service for further information on the fee that may apply in your case. If you select a new rate plan any calls made from the date of the change will be rated at the applicable rate of your new plan.


Change of ownership: Is permitted during the contract period providing the new applicant meets Optus credit assessment criteria and both the current and new owner agree to the conditions on the Optus Change of Ownership form. Customers changing account ownership will not be eligible for Plan Scan.


Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies to: 'unreasonable use' and 'unacceptable use' of the Business Complete plan. This includes Unlimited standard national mobile calls on same customer account number, Unlimited Voicemail, Unlimited SMS, Unlimited Facebook(R), Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, eBay and FourSquare, and TrueLocal on the monthly option up to 300 Maps downloaded per month. See Appendix W of the Optus Standard Forms of Agreement for more information (available at www.optus.com.au/standardagreement).


Blocking access to a number: we may block access to a number (other than an emergency service number) if we reasonably require this to be done for technical, operational or commercial reasons.


GST: Prices quoted are GST inclusive, on your Tax Invoice call charges will be calculated excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the total amount of taxable supplies during the billing period and shown as a separate entry. Optus reserves the right to change prices including call rates and monthly access fees at any time.


Optus supplies these services to you on the terms of the Optus Standard Form of Agreement which is available on the Optus website at www.optus.com.au/standardagreements or on request by calling 133 343.


24 MONTH HANDSET WARRANTY is made up of (i) the Manufacturer's Handset Warranty supplied by the manufacturer of your handset, on the terms set out in the documentation that you received when you purchased your handset; and (ii) the Optus Extended Handset Warranty supplied by Optus to eligible customers, which automatically extends your Manufacturer's Handset Warranty (if less than 24 months) to 24 months, on the same terms. Optus Extended Handset Warranty: You are eligible if on or after 14 November 2010, you (i) purchase a new handset (with a Manufacturer's Handset Warranty of less than 24 months) from Optus; and (ii) are a consumer or small or medium business customer who connects to an Optus postpaid mobile plan for 24 months (except small or medium business customers who purchase the new handset using technology funds or equipment credits available under their Optus postpaid mobile plan). You must be connected to an Optus postpaid mobile plan to remain eligible. Not available on Satellite and Pre-Paid handsets. 24 Month Handset Warranty: Manufacturers' standard warranties typically exclude the right to repair for faults caused by misuse (such as physical damage or liquid ingression) but this will vary depending on your handset and manufacturer. The same exclusions apply to the Optus Extended Handset Warranty. The 24 Month Handset Warranty only covers repair to your handset. (not to handset batteries or accessories). The benefits given by the 24 Month Handset Warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies as a consumer under Australian Law.
