Refer a Mate Terms and Conditions

This article was published on 15/12/11 and filed under Mobile Phones.

‘Refer a Mate’ is a program that rewards TeleChoice customers for introducing a new customer to a postpaid mobile service at any one of our 150+ store locations. When a customer brings the Refer a Mate’ card into a TeleChoice store within 90 days of the issue date of that card, and connects a new service, or ports from a carrier other than Optus or Virgin to a contract service then the customer as well as the person who gave them the card will receive a $35 credit on their account. (The card will recognise the referrer as part of the bar code of that card). If a customer wishes to know whether or not their Refer a Mate card is within the eligibility period ( 90 days) , they simply make contact with the store that issued the card. The plan value of the new service must be $29 and above and the contract length must be 24 months to activate the $35 credit to both accounts. The credit will be received by both parties within the period of 60 days that the Refer a Mate credits are activated. The credit amount is not redeemable in cash. Any One Mobile service is limited to receive a maximum credit of $70 ( 2 amounts of $35 ) as a result of participation in the ‘Refer a Mate’ program. (one amount of $35 as the Referrer and another as the Referee.) TeleChoice reserves the right to remove the Refer a Mate program at any time without notice. In the event that TeleChoice does remove the Refer a Mate Program, all eligible Refer a Mate Cards will continue to be eligible for the period of 90 days from the date issued, under the terms and conditions that the card was issued. The Refer a Mate card remains the Property of TeleChoice. In order to take advantage of the refer a mate account credit offering both the referrer ( A party ) and the Referee ( B party ) must be from the same carrier environment ( Optus and Optus or Virgin and virgin ).
